wont be fiction....

yesterday while I was sleeeping an strange idea cam to my mind.... can we invent a nano robot so that it could recognize the cancer cells in the body and kill them.. we may send those nano robots in billions and trillions inside our body.. that would kill only cancereous cell... lol ..... sounds funny isn't... But I am optimistic towards this idea.......

NANOTECHNOLOGY IN MEDICINE

Applications of nanotechnology in medicine currently being developed involve employing nano-particles to deliver drugs, heat, light or other substances to specific cells in the human body. Engineering particles to be used in this way allows detection and/or treatment of diseases or injuries within the targeted cells, thereby minimizing the damage to healthy cells in the body.
The longer range future of nanotechnology in medicine is referred to as nanomedicine.

abc

Nanotechnology is the study and use of structures between 1 nanometer and 100 nanometers in size. To give you an idea of just how small that is, it would take eight hundred 100-nanometer particles placed side by side to equal the width of a human hair.
Scientists have been studying and using particles of this size for centuries, but the effectiveness of their work has been limited because they have not been able to see the structure of nanoparticles until recently. The development in the last few decades of microscopes that are capable of displaying particles as small as atoms has allowed scientists to see what they are working with.
This ability to see their materials makes a huge difference

First step ...

It is my First step in the field of nanotechnology...

talking about myself... I have a passion for this field... I am basically interested in pharmaceutical nanotechnology... at present I am studying in India.... If I could donate a drop of my toil in the field of nanotechnology and finally brought some fruitful product to this world.. then that would bring smile on my face....
